In perhaps the smallest of all the dugout shelters is where the Elders' Den can be found. The inside is less rocky than are the other shelters, and moss grows naturally inside to create a softer area for the older cats to site and relax. A few small blueberry bushes mark the entrance, meaning a delicious afternoon snack on a summer's day.
