Leader's Den

A hollow tree stump, large in diameter and located beside the Warriors' Den, is where the leader of DarkClan sleeps. Not much remains of the old tree, as according to the elder's stories it was torn by lightning one night in a terrible storm. It's on a one of the softer lower slope of the ravine wall, and the old stump leans a little to the side where it sits. Dead roots crawl up and down the side, twisting in and out of the earth before dissapearing althgether. The forest floor of the camp, being lower than the sloping lower wall, has uprooted the tree slightly. Because of this a cat must slink through a gaping wall of thick roots to enter the nest. There is little ceiling up above where the trunk broke in two, but loose ivy and vines were collected and threaded together to create a canopy for shelter.
